Dzung Tri Nguyen joined The Smile Train in the summer of 2008 with a goal to not just help as many children with cleft as he could, but to help every single child born with a cleft. He graduated from Hanoi University of Foreign Trade and has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Hartford University in Connecticut. Dzung has experience in various disciplines including finance, sales and business solutions with multinational pharmaceutical companies in Vietnam. In 2002 he helped GlaxoSmithKline manage a very complicated business model as Finance and Demand Manager. Dzung went on to become the National Sales Manager for Diethelm, a Swiss based distributor very well-known in Asia, where he greatly improved his sales team’s effectiveness in distributing medicine to people in Vietnam.

Dzung was recently married to his wife Ha and they are now living in HoChiMinh City, Vietnam.
