Cooey, as he is commonly referred to, joined The Smile Train in October 2007. He has a Master’s degree in Business Management from the Asian Institute of Management and has over 20 years experience working for several multinational companies including Pfizer and Procter& Gamble. He has an impressive list of accomplishments in the pharmaceutical sector, having worked in consumer healthcare OTCs and ethical pharmaceuticals. Cooey’s various regional and country management positions have taken him to: Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand and China.

Cooey, his wife and five children returned to the Philippines in June 2007. He looks forward to growing Smile Train programs and partners and helping give children born with cleft, a new start on life.
