Som joined The Smile Train in September 2007 after spending more than 28 years working in the pharmaceutical industry. He spent more than 24 years at Stiefel Laboratories, where he was Vice President for Asia Pacific, covering more than 15 Asian markets.

Som has a Bachelor degree in pharmacy and an MBA degree from Thai University. He is married with 2 children. He enjoys reading, traveling and studying different cultures and way of life of people in different parts of the world.

Som is excited about expanding the Smile Train programs in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar and giving children a second chance at life.
